The ZippyPaws journey began with a heartfelt story between a girl and her beloved dog. Co-founder Jen Glaser launched ZippyPaws in 2011, driven by her admiration for her Golden Retriever, JJ. She identified a gap in the market for dog toys that not only prioritized safety but also appealed to the eye. The toys are inspired by JJ’s spirited nature—colorful, playful, and full of joy!

The Inspiration Behind ZippyPaws

The adventure began in 2003 when Jen adopted a delightful golden retriever puppy named JJ. His friendly demeanor captured the hearts of everyone, with his favorite pastimes including napping with his paws in the air, rolling in the grass, and playing with squeaky plush toys.

While pursuing her degree in business at the University of Southern California, Jen sought to utilize her family's two-decade experience in the pet industry alongside her design expertise to create a boutique pet brand. Established in 2011, ZippyPaws has since designed toys that reflect JJ's vibrancy—playful, colorful, and filled with joy!
